Naked Teepee illustration at Mile High Music Fest

by Joel, July 21st, 2009

This past weekend Colorado hosted one of the biggest music fests of the summer.  Somewhere around 50 bands showed up and rocked out for a solid two days in the perfect Colorado weather.  We had a chance to attend this 100% sober event thanks the generosity of Naked Teepee and TDA advertising. The diversity of artists definitely made for some fascinating people watching….panic hippies, death metal goths, hipsters, yuppies, freaks and geeks were in attendance and loving it.

If you went you most likely saw one of Naked Teepees illustrations plastered all over the event thanks to one of the local sponsors.  A couple of the illustrations even made its way above and below one of the stages.

Saturday night closed out with Tool and Widespread Panic.  Tool put on a great show and Maynard definitely is one strange character…we dug it.  I also had a chance to see Gov’t Mule for the first time and I was pretty impressed.  They are like a hard rock/blues band with not too much hippie put in. Thanks to Eric for the pics.
